Key Principles¶
Capital Defense Mindset
"There is no such thing as earning less or being poor. It is all about how you manage expenses... Do not recklessly lose money. Have the mindset of defending your capital."
- Capital preservation first - It's very difficult to make back money
- Know your dance partner - Trade familiar names
- Cut losers quickly - Exit before 1R if wrong
- Let winners run - But take partials along the way
- Think in probabilities - Max is 80%, never 100%
- Speed matters - People who make money are fast, smart, or cheat
Trade Hierarchy¶
Default Mindset
Always assume first you are gonna position trade a stock. If not then swing trade. If not then options for very short term... that should be the hierarchy.
